2013 Moto X Lollipop update is in testing with rollout planned 'in a few weeks'

Motorola's David Schuster took to Google Plus today to confirm that the Lollipop update for the 2013 Moto X is currently in testing and should see a wider rollout "in a few weeks."
If you're still holding on to that 2013 Moto X and eagerly awaiting your Lollipop update, you shouldn't have too much longer to wait. In a Google Plus post earlier today, Motorola's Senior Director of Software Product Management, David Schuster, confirmed that the update is currently being tested, with a full deployment due "in a few weeks." From Schuster:
I know that a lot of people have been asking about the status of the Moto X (1st Gen) Lollipop upgrade. I can see the frustration and in some cases the anger about how long it has taken to get the upgrade deployed. It has been a struggle due to the lack of support from some of our partners but I am glad to announce that we are starting TestDrive in both the US and LatAm. If all goes well we should start full deployments in a few weeks.
As for the particular flavor of Lollipop users will receive, Schuster previously confirmed that the first-gen Moto X would be upgraded straight to Android 5.1. Schuster doesn't make mention which versions of the device will get the update f
