Android 5.1 update for Galaxy S6 and S6 edge expected to arrive in June

Canadian carrier Rogers has listed that its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edgeare due to receive the Android 5.1 update in the month of June, with other carriers also estimated to start offering the update at the same time.

Last month, it was revealed that Samsung was working on Android 5.1 for either device, with the update rumored to bring a Guest Mode feature, along with the ability to take images in RAW.
Although Google launched Guest Mode in Android 5.0, Samsung is yet to implement the feature in its latest devices. The Camera2 API — which enables CMOS camera sensors to shoot in RAW — was also not incorporated into Samsung's stock camera, with the Android 5.1 update slated to bring both features.

Google Play Books gets a handy Night Light feature in latest update

Google Play Books is one of the best apps available on Android for reading books, but sometimes the app can be annoying to use late at night. This is why Google today introducedan update to Play Books that brings along with it a new Night Light feature, which will make reading your favorite stories at night much easier on the eyes. When the Night Light feature is turned on, the app will gradually filter blue light from your screen and replace it with a warm, amber light as the sun sets.
